Research Paper Monitoring System – Automation

This automation continuously monitors multiple research sources to help users stay updated with the latest academic publications relevant to their interests. The workflow periodically checks platforms such as arXiv, Google Scholar RSS feeds, PubMed, IEEE Xplore, or other configured research repositories using predefined keywords, topics, or author names.

Whenever a newly published paper matches the specified search criteria, the automation extracts essential details including the paper title, authors, publication date, abstract, source, and direct link. Before storing the information, it verifies whether the paper has already been recorded to prevent duplicate entries. New research papers are then automatically logged into a centralized Google Sheets database (or another database), making them easy to organize and search.

The system also sends real-time email notifications containing the paper's key details and access link, enabling researchers to review important publications without manually searching multiple platforms. Additionally, scheduled monitoring ensures that users receive updates at regular intervals, while maintaining a complete history of discovered papers for future reference.
