Inventory Replenishment Automation

This automation streamlines inventory management by continuously monitoring stock levels and automatically initiating the replenishment process whenever inventory falls below predefined thresholds. The workflow periodically retrieves inventory records from Google Sheets, evaluates current stock levels, calculates reorder quantities, and determines the urgency of replenishment based on available inventory.

When an item requires replenishment, the system automatically generates a purchase order containing the required quantity, estimated cost, supplier details, and purchase order number. Purchase orders are logged into a centralized database, and notification emails are sent directly to suppliers for standard orders. For high-value purchase orders, the workflow routes the request to the procurement manager for approval before further processing.

By automating inventory monitoring, purchase order creation, supplier notifications, and approval workflows, the system reduces stock shortages, minimizes manual intervention, and ensures uninterrupted inventory availability.
